ED Rule Tracker

ED Rule Tracker

ED Rule Tracker tracks rulemaking at the U.S. Department of Education — every final and proposed rule published in the Federal Register, filtered down from the administrative notices that make up most of it. Each item carries its effective date, the CFR parts it touches, its RIN and docket, and any court action, all taken straight from the document. Every item links to its source — nothing is rewritten without attribution.

How items are selected

The system monitors dozens of RSS feeds from regulators (SEC, FINRA, FTC, DOL, CISA, NIST), security firms, legal journals, and news outlets. Each item is scored for relevance to the tracked industries:

Items above a threshold are published as bulletins (single-item alerts) or folded into the weekly digest. Suppressed items (below threshold) are not published.

CRITICAL HIGH MEDIUM INFO

Sourcing & attribution

Every claim is linked to its source. Each bulletin and newsletter item includes a direct link to the original article, press release, court filing, or advisory. Nothing is fabricated or generated from a language model without a verifiable source URL attached.
